  Emile Smith Rowe has been tasked by Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta with demonstrating his value to the team.    The 23-year-old academy alumnus is now only a minor player in the Emirates Stadium's first team lineup.    Smith Rowe can play himsel f into the team, according to Arteta, who does not want to give up on the attacking midfielder.    There are numerous reasons why he hasn't started a game, Arteta said prior to a Carabao Cup matchup against Brentford. He was absent for an extremely long time.   "He has played more minutes in the last two games, and he will have a great opportunity to prove that he can perform at this level and be a really important player for us tomorrow (today).".    "We want to give him the time on the field and the op portunities he needs. Then he must demonstrate his worthiness to play, just like every other player on the field. ".

According to the Daily Mirror, Man City manager Pep Guardiola was interested in signing Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Warren Zaire-Emery as part of a deal that would have seen Bernardo Silva leave the team.   The 17-year-old clocked 918 minutes in Ligue 1 last season and made 26 league appearances while scoring two goals and placing admirably across a wide range of passing metrics.   Zare-Emery has established himself as a key member of Luis Enrique's midfield and has even been dubbed "undroppable" for the Spanish coach's version of PSG this year. All six of PSG's games this season have featured the young player, who captains the France U21 team coached by Arsenal legend Thierry Henry. He will likely play tonight in Le Classique for PSG against Olympique de Marseille.

 Paul Merson, the reigning Arsenal Legend  wants his old team to sign Ivan Toney, a Brentford striker.    Thomas Frank, the manager of the Bees, has acknowledged that Toney might be traded in January while serving his betting ban.   Merson believes the Gunners must make a move to sign the center-forward, telling Sky Sports: "It's okay to sit there and think, 'They need a center forward,' but who is there?   There aren't many center forwards in the world, so only Ivan Toney is available for them in January.  They are an extinct breed.   "Toney is a good player; he can keep the ball up and is good in the air. He might need to go to Arsenal. But there aren't a ton of center forwards out there. ".

 Following his remarkable work in Germany with Bayer Leverkusen, where he was appointed a year ago, Alonso has begun to establish a reputation as one of the most promising managing prospects in Europe.  It follows an impressive performance as coach of Real Sociedad's B team by the former central midfielder. According to Radio Marca, Xabi Alonso has been selected as Real Madrid's manager for the upcoming campaign. Alonso was connected to the Tottenham position before to the appointment of Ange Postecoglou and has been successful since taking over Bayer Leverkusen last season. He is apparently planning to go back to the Bernabeu, where as a player, he won the Champions League and LaLiga. Brazil will be led by Carlo Ancelotti, the current manager of Real, at the conclusion of the current campaign.

 Prior to the winter transfer window, Premier League powerhouse Arsenal has increased its interest in Ivan Toney.    After the Football Association's suspension of the 27-year-old expires, he will be permitted to resume playing.    Leading clubs like Arsenal and Chelsea are keeping an eye on the England and Brentford star.    Arsenal is prepared to make a bid as soon as the transfer window opens, according to The Mirror.   A seasoned Premier League scorer is something that manager Mikel Arteta wants in his team.    He has center forwards Eddie Nketiah and Gabriel Jesus, signed Kai Havertz for a hefty fee and salary, and sold Folarin Balogun in the summer, but he still wants to make another high-profile signing.

 John Terry, a former Chelsea player, is getting closer to joining Al Shabab. Since the conclusion of the last campaign, Terry has been in talks with the Saudi Pro League team. And there is now optimism that Terry may agree to a temporary position as sporting director for Al Shabab. Reports on SportZone Terry initially turned down the opportunity to lead Al Shabab, but the position of sporting director has won him over. Terry was convinced by Al Shabab after signing a brief initial contract. The club's board still needs to approve the appointment, though.

 Jorginho, an Arsenal player, has spoken out following his error in Sunday's 2-2 draw with Tottenham. Jorginho was at fault for Spurs' second equalizer of the day, which was also Heung-min Son's second goal. The Italy has since posted on social media with the following statement: "A terrible error today, but seeing how everyone reacted after it to encourage and boost me up, my teammates, coaches, staff, and the fans, it gives me even more incentive to work more, since you all deserve my best version. "The Arsenal family appreciates your support so much," Declan Rice's recent aggravated back ailment has led to Jorginho being given a prolonged run in the middle of the field.

 Alvaro Morata, a striker for Atletico Madrid, believes that the team's victory over Real Madrid demonstrated their ability to contend for the title.   On Sunday, Atletico Madrid won 3-1 thanks to two goals from Morata.   He subsequently remarked: "If there is one thing that I have gotten better at over time, it is that I am more mentally prepared, and it is a shame that when we are prepared with mental maturity, it is almost when we have to retire.    "Throughout my career, I have experienced both recognition and unrecognition of my work.  Matty Young, the goalie for Sunderland, is being watched by Manchester City. The 16-year-old, who participated in preseason games for the first team, is a target for City, according to The Sun. Young is a regular for the U21s and is Sunderland's third-choice goalkeeper. Before the start of the season, he signed a new two-year contract, but Sunderland are open to selling for the right price. Young is anticipated to leave City in January.

 Ivan Toney has informed Thomas Frank, the head coach of Brentford, that he wants to depart in January.  Aston Villa presents a challenge for Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino.   On Sunday, the Blues play Villa.    With regard to Unai Emery, the manager of Villa, Pochettino said: "We have a good relationship; he started coaching before me, which I was after.
