Arsenal Legend Berg For Toney Deal To Happen

 Paul Merson, the reigning Arsenal Legend  wants his old team to sign Ivan Toney, a Brentford striker.  

 Thomas Frank, the manager of the Bees, has acknowledged that Toney might be traded in January while serving his betting ban.   Merson believes the Gunners must make a move to sign the center-forward, telling Sky Sports: "It's okay to sit there and think, 'They need a center forward,' but who is there?   There aren't many center forwards in the world, so only Ivan Toney is available for them in January.

 They are an extinct breed.   "Toney is a good player; he can keep the ball up and is good in the air. He might need to go to Arsenal. But there aren't a ton of center forwards out there. ".

Manchester City Keeping Tab On PSG Young Star

According to the Daily Mirror, Man City manager Pep Guardiola was interested in signing Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Warren Zaire-Emery as part of a deal that would have seen Bernardo Silva leave the team.   The 17-year-old clocked 918 minutes in Ligue 1 last season and made 26 league appearances while scoring two goals and placing admirably across a wide range of passing metrics.   Zare-Emery has established himself as a key member of Luis Enrique's midfield and has even been dubbed "undroppable" for the Spanish coach's version of PSG this year. All six of PSG's games this season have featured the young player, who captains the France U21 team coached by Arsenal legend Thierry Henry. He will likely play tonight in Le Classique for PSG against Olympique de Marseille.
