Leno "Why I Left Arsenal"

Bernd Leno, the goalkeeper for Fulham, admits that leaving Arsenal was difficult.   The international player for Germany is playing for the Cottagers for the second time.

The Times quotes Leno as saying, "I immediately thought I had to leave when I realized it wasn't a question of performance. I'm not sure if they preferred one strong goalkeeper over two. I still had one year left on my contract, so this was my last opportunity to be bought. ".

The conflict between David Raya and Aaron Ramsdale at Arsenal was the next topic of discussion on Leno.   "After the international break, it occurred again. Aaron came to mind because he's a really nice guy. I was thinking, "This is pretty much the same thing that happened to me!".

There are some similarities, so I can relate. When I attempted to compete for my position, the goalkeeping coach advised me to leave the team. ".
