Arsenal getting ready for the Toney Biding battle

Image
Prior to the winter transfer window, Premier League powerhouse Arsenal has increased its interest in Ivan Toney.    After the Football Association's suspension of the 27-year-old expires, he will be permitted to resume playing.    Leading clubs like Arsenal and Chelsea are keeping an eye on the England and Brentford star.    Arsenal is prepared to make a bid as soon as the transfer window opens, according to The Mirror.   A seasoned Premier League scorer is something that manager Mikel Arteta wants in his team.    He has center forwards Eddie Nketiah and Gabriel Jesus, signed Kai Havertz for a hefty fee and salary, and sold Folarin Balogun in the summer, but he still wants to make another high-profile signing.

Arteta On The Draw Against Tottenham

Image
Following their 2-2 draw with Tottenham, Mikel Arteta, the manager of Arsenal, expressed his  dissatisfaction . In a thrilling end-to-end battle, Spurs twice knocked Arsenal back.    We're disappointed not to win the game, especially when you go ahead twice, but Arteta is adamant that they did enough to have disposed of the visitors.   It's disappointing that we lost. The team suffered psychologically when we scored once more and then immediately gave up.   They are a really strong team, in my opinion.  They have an excellent coach. Six games is too soon to determine what they will be fighting for at the end of the season you can see the team's spirit and the energy around them. ".He continued, "What happened is I love him and we love him," in reference to Jorginho's error that led to Heung-min Son's second goal.  Football includes mistakes. Because they are players, they are allowed to make mistakes. ".  Declan Rice was replaced a...

Arteta On Arsenal Against PSV

Image
Mikel Arteta, the manager of Arsenal, was thrilled with their convincing Champions League return on Wednesday evening. Bukayo Saka, Leandro Trossard, Gabriel Jesus, and Martin Odegaard scored in the Gunners' 4-0 victory. Later, Arteta remarked, "We liked it. We jumped right in from the start. We were excellent in both boxes, and in the Champions League, you have a chance when you are excellent in both boxes. "There are things to improve between the boxes, but inside the boxes, we were outstanding. Have a good time tonight, then head home to eat a lovely, late dinner with my wife. I'll savor the victory and the moment, and tomorrow, I'll concentrate on the Spurs since we have a crucial matchup scheduled. Regarding squad depth, he continued, "Good headaches. Due to your emotional attachment to the players, leaving them out is perhaps the hardest part of your job. It has been a lovely experience to travel with them.

How Arsenal Could Line Up Against PSV

Image
Leandro Trossard is ready to take the field for Arsenal against PSV Eindhoven in their Champions League debut. Gabriel Martinelli, a fellow winger, is out with a hamstring injury, which has allowed his opponent to join the squad. The Belgian scored the game's lone goal at Goodison Park over the weekend as the Gunners defeated Everton after coming off the bench. For the Champions League debut, Arteta plans to select a solid starting team. Evening Standard has been rumored that Mikel Arteta will start a strong lineup against PSV tonight in their Champions League debut, with Gabriel Jesus expected to make a comeback. Owen On Who is Better Between Raya and Ramsdale

Image
I find it intriguing, Owen remarked. "I believe that in the upcoming weeks, we will hear more about all of these questions.  The way Arteta is speaking and acting thus far would imply that could be the best course of action. "I think what you might see is Arteta pigeonholing one goalkeeper for a certain type of game, then another goalkeeper for a different type of game," said the analyst. I adore this boy. I consider Raya to be a premier goalie. I told everyone in the room who would listen that this young man was headed to a top team as soon as I saw him at Brentford. He immediately struck me as bright, in my opinion.  However, I do feel bad for Ramsdale. He hasn't broken any laws. After all those outstanding accomplishments, now his position is under threat. They will both, in my opinion, receive an equal chance to crack the whip. Recall that Ramsdale was performing admirably as Arsenal's starting quarterback. This summer, Arteta made the choice to sign Raya f...

Arsenal Manager Arteta Acknowledges Coming to Training to Fill Out The Roster.

Image
Mikel Arteta, the manager of Arsenal, acknowledges that he has been showing up to workouts in order to increase his attendance. A decrease in players due to injuries and academy commitments has caused Arteta to participate in exercises and bounce games at London Colney. It was forced, I suppose. I wasn't interested in doing it, but we had a few guys and some academy players who couldn't join, he said. It was a terrific workout, and it was good. I reduced my weight and stayed healthy. When asked about tackling, he replied, "I did a few yes, but I didn't get anybody injured!"

Mikel Arteta Explained his reasoning for starting David Raya and Fabio

Image
The same reasoning that Fabio played here or Eddie Nketiah played ahead of Gabriel Jesus led Mikel Arteta to start David Raya against Everton. Gabriel has won more titles than I have in that dressing room, yet no one has ever inquired as to why he hasn't begun. It has always been done this way, but I can't have two players in this position and not use them. Mikel Arteta started David Raya against Everton for the same reasons that Fabio was started here or Eddie [Nketiah] was started ahead of Gabriel Jesus. In that dressing room, Gabriel has won more championships than I have, but no one has ever asked him why he hasn't started. Although this is how it has always been done, I cannot have two players in this position and choose not to employ them. We drew those games, which made me quite angry. "Someone will do it, and you'll wonder why since it'll seem unusual, but explain why not? If another goalie has all the necessary traits to accomplish something, or ...

What Arsenal Fans Should Expect Against Everton

Image
To win at Everton for the first time in over six years, Arsenal is aiming. For the trip to Goodison Park and the return to Champions League play against PSV Eindhoven on Wednesday, Mikel Arteta may need to make up to four changes. For the time being, Aaron Ramsdale will remain on the team. It is uncertain whether David Raya will enter the Champions League, though. Raya's debut is imminent nevertheless because his original club Brentford has given him permission to participate in the Carabao Cup game in ten days. Ramsdale is aware that in order to keep his top spot, he must perform at his absolute best. Takehiro Tomiyasu replaces Oleksandr Zinchenko in the starting lineup following the 3-1 victory over Manchester United. Tomiyasu will provide Arsenal extra height in their matchup with a strong Everton team. In both the upcoming north London derby and the match against PSV, Arteta will want to employ Zinchenko right away. He has had injury issues, so making three starts in a row might...

Arsenal Worried Of Star Boy Injury

Image
The Mirror DailyMirror believes that Mikel Arteta is closely monitoring England winger Bukayo Saka due to rumors that the player has a persistent achilles ailment.  Bukayo Saka, a forward, will be eligible for the trip to Everton on Sunday, but only because of continued concerns about the English star's fitness, according to Michael Arteta.  The 22-year-old, who won the Men's Senior Player of the Year title for the second consecutive year, has been one of the Gunners' and England's most reliable players over the past two seasons.

Arsenal Set To Offer New Contract For Their Star Man

Image
Martin Odegaard's contract renewal with Arsenal will follow. Everybody is eager to reach an agreement.  Odegaard considers the Gunners to be his current "home" and is quite content in London. The 24-year-old just wants to keep working with HIS colleagues in North London. Martin De Gaard will likely sign a new long-term contract with Arsenal in the coming weeks or months. Nelson, Saliba, Gabriel, Saka, Ramsdale, Martinelli, and Saka have already signed new contracts.

William Gallas On How Arsenal Can surpass Manchester City

Image
William Gallas, a former captain of Arsenal, maintains that the current squad is still developing. Gallas believes they should make new purchases in January. He stated to Gamblingzone that Declan Rice is now a better signing than Moises Caicedo. It appeared as though he had been playing for Arsenal for a year from the start of the first game. You can see he is committed to Arsenal because he talks to the players, knows when to get the ball and where to go with it, and is skilled at box-to-box play. In my opinion, he simply has to score more goals before we can discuss him at the highest level. But Rice will eventually rank among the world's top midfielders. "It's easy: Arsenal still needs to sign one solid right-back. I would pay close attention to that position because it is there that they need to locate the right right-back, not a center-back who plays there. "With the current state of football, you need a guy that can play box-to-box, defend well while also posse...

Pepe Set To Join Trabzonspor

Image
Nicolas Pepe, who reportedly turned down offers from Saudi Arabia, is reportedly not a part of Mikel Arteta's Arsenal plans and is instead planning to sign with Trabzonspor.  At this time, the Turkish club is his preferred destination, and negotiations are currently taking place between the clubs and the player's representation to work out the specifics of the transfer. The 28-year-old winger, who Arsenal paid €80 million to sign from Lille back in 2019, is in the final year of his contract at the Emirates and is definitely open to accepting a fair offer for his services. He has done nothing to merit the money spent to get him to the Emirates in 112 appearances with the in all competitions, Pepe made 27 goals and 21 assists.

Salah May Remain At Liverpool

Image
Mo Salah anticipated remaining at Liverpool. Senior Saudi deal makers have advised against any bids in order to preserve their relationship with Liverpool, despite Al-Ittihad's continued pursuit for Salah due to the possibility that they may not be the designated club in 2024. There has not yet been a formal bid for anything new.  Mike Gordon and I only had friendly, verbal exchanges. Salah has never attempted to persuade Liverpool to change their mind or push a move because they have made their position very clear. Although those close to the London delegation have made it plain they won't bid "blindly," Al-Ittihad sources have always indicated they would be willing to make a significant proposal once more. Liverpool would have to offer encouragement, which they haven't.

Is Arteta New Formation Paying Off

Image
Arsenal ended the Premier League weekend in style as last-minute goals from Declan Rice and Gabriel Jesus gave Manchester United a 3-1 victory over their rivals at the Emirates Stadium. Ahead of the game against Manchester United, Arteta was asked if he would like to return to a similar squad. 'I can't do that. I have different players. I can't do that. (Alexander) Zinchenko is injured, Granit (Xhaka) is away, what should I do? Arteta said. Despite the comments, Arteta appeared to be back to his winning formula when he visited the Red Devils. Gabriel Maghayes was back alongside William Saliba at the heart of the Gunners' defence, while Ben White and Zinchenko were reinstated at full-back. The big question is whether Arteta plans to return to basics against United, or whether his departure was forced by Partey's injury. It will be interesting to see whether Arteta sticks with that squad when the Premier League resumes after the international break.
