Alonso Set For Real Madrid Return

 Following his remarkable work in Germany with Bayer Leverkusen, where he was appointed a year ago, Alonso has begun to establish a reputation as one of the most promising managing prospects in Europe.

 It follows an impressive performance as coach of Real Sociedad's B team by the former central midfielder. According to Radio Marca, Xabi Alonso has been selected as Real Madrid's manager for the upcoming campaign.

Alonso was connected to the Tottenham position before to the appointment of Ange Postecoglou and has been successful since taking over Bayer Leverkusen last season.

He is apparently planning to go back to the Bernabeu, where as a player, he won the Champions League and LaLiga.

Brazil will be led by Carlo Ancelotti, the current manager of Real, at the conclusion of the current campaign.
