It now seems certain that Verratti will complete a transfer to Al-Hilal in the coming days. Verratti specifically sought to participate in the waning moments of Saturday night's 1-1 draw with Toulouse at the Parc des Princes but was rejected by the club. The young player has a tentative contract deal in place for his transfer to the Saudi club since a few months ago, thanks to the ardent advocacy of his agent, Rafaela Pimenta. Marco Verratti, who left PSG for Al-Arabi in a €45 million deal, has joined the team. similar to the price Al-Hilal proposed. Salah May Remain At Liverpool

Image
Mo Salah anticipated remaining at Liverpool. Senior Saudi deal makers have advised against any bids in order to preserve their relationship with Liverpool, despite Al-Ittihad's continued pursuit for Salah due to the possibility that they may not be the designated club in 2024. There has not yet been a formal bid for anything new.  Mike Gordon and I only had friendly, verbal exchanges. Salah has never attempted to persuade Liverpool to change their mind or push a move because they have made their position very clear. Although those close to the London delegation have made it plain they won't bid "blindly," Al-Ittihad sources have always indicated they would be willing to make a significant proposal once more. Liverpool would have to offer encouragement, which they haven't.
