Arteta On What Odegaard Is To The Club

 "At a very young age, he had huge expectations," says Mikel Arteta of Martin Odegaard's response to the pressure from the age of 15. 

He played for five different teams in three different countries during that time, making his national team debut when he was 15 or 16. That's a lot to take, but I believe that your experiences and journeys are what make you who you are. 

"Martin's experiences over the past four or five years have shaped him into the player he is today at that age. "That is what makes him the player and the person he is today. We are overjoyed that he has a home. ". 

 Martin Odegaard, the captain of Arsenal, justifiably agreed to a new five-year contract worth £200k per week. Mikel Arteta, the manager of the Gunners, also praised the captain for the deal, saying Martin Odegaard is "Top Quality.".

Manchester City Keeping Tab On PSG Young Star

According to the Daily Mirror, Man City manager Pep Guardiola was interested in signing Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Warren Zaire-Emery as part of a deal that would have seen Bernardo Silva leave the team.   The 17-year-old clocked 918 minutes in Ligue 1 last season and made 26 league appearances while scoring two goals and placing admirably across a wide range of passing metrics.   Zare-Emery has established himself as a key member of Luis Enrique's midfield and has even been dubbed "undroppable" for the Spanish coach's version of PSG this year. All six of PSG's games this season have featured the young player, who captains the France U21 team coached by Arsenal legend Thierry Henry. He will likely play tonight in Le Classique for PSG against Olympique de Marseille.
