Tottenham Desperate For Chelsea Star

 Ange Postecoglou, the manager of Tottenham, is prepared to make fresh efforts to capture Gallagher after missing out during the summer transfer window as he looks to strengthen his midfield this winter.

Chelsea reportedly refused Tottenham's £40 million offer for the 23-year-old back in August, preferring to hang out for more like £50 million. Gallagher decided to stay at Stamford Bridge after the window closed because a deal could not be reached.

Spurs apparently still have hope of bringing the midfielder to North London, as Football Insider reports that they are prepared to rekindle their interest in Gallagher before the January transfer window.

According to the report, Chelsea would be willing to sell the former Crystal Palace loanee if the right offer came in. Gallagher is reportedly content in West London, so even if a deal is reached between the two teams, he might be hesitant to join Tottenham.

Chelsea currently sits in 14th place in the Premier League standings with five points after a sluggish start to the season. Gallagher has played in five games for Chelsea.

Manchester City Keeping Tab On PSG Young Star

According to the Daily Mirror, Man City manager Pep Guardiola was interested in signing Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Warren Zaire-Emery as part of a deal that would have seen Bernardo Silva leave the team.   The 17-year-old clocked 918 minutes in Ligue 1 last season and made 26 league appearances while scoring two goals and placing admirably across a wide range of passing metrics.   Zare-Emery has established himself as a key member of Luis Enrique's midfield and has even been dubbed "undroppable" for the Spanish coach's version of PSG this year. All six of PSG's games this season have featured the young player, who captains the France U21 team coached by Arsenal legend Thierry Henry. He will likely play tonight in Le Classique for PSG against Olympique de Marseille.
