Thierry Henry Shine As France U21 Coach

The France U21s put on a display in their debut game under Thierry Henry's leadership.

The legendary player from Arsenal will serve as the team's captain in the 2016 Summer Olympics in Paris, taking over for Sylvain Ripoll, who was fired following France's early exit from this year's European Under-21s.

In his first game in charge, Henry's France U21 team defeated Denmark with a resounding 4-1 victory. Cherki Shining scored twice for the France squad after coming off the bench, using a reliable 4-3-1-2 shape. As Henry builds his team, there is more to be on the lookout for.
