Shearer On If Nketiah Can Win Arsenal Title As Their Main Forward Player

Shearer discussed whether the English forward is capable of setting the tone for the Gunners as a pundit for Premier League Productions.

Nketiah struggled in Sunday's tense 1-0 league victory for the Gunners over Everton.

"We'll keep talking about whether or not he's elite. And the star striker Arsenal needs to get to the next stage?" Shearer made the following statement about Nketiah on Premier League Productions.

"We will keep asking those questions because it's critical that he seize opportunities when presented with them, as he has done.

"I just felt there were two or three times against Everton, one of which was the goal that was disallowed. In the second half, there were a few that had me saying, "Come on. Like all great strikers, get on the end of it, inside the six-yard box, and complete the simple tap-in. He was slow for a little period of time.

Manchester City Keeping Tab On PSG Young Star

According to the Daily Mirror, Man City manager Pep Guardiola was interested in signing Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Warren Zaire-Emery as part of a deal that would have seen Bernardo Silva leave the team.   The 17-year-old clocked 918 minutes in Ligue 1 last season and made 26 league appearances while scoring two goals and placing admirably across a wide range of passing metrics.   Zare-Emery has established himself as a key member of Luis Enrique's midfield and has even been dubbed "undroppable" for the Spanish coach's version of PSG this year. All six of PSG's games this season have featured the young player, who captains the France U21 team coached by Arsenal legend Thierry Henry. He will likely play tonight in Le Classique for PSG against Olympique de Marseille.
