Latest News On Manchester United Takeover

With the process now approaching 10 months since the Glazers served notice of the potential sale of the club, Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad al-Thani and Sir Jim Ratcliffe are prepared to play the long game in their respective attempts to purchase Manchester United.

Ratcliffe's attorneys are more certain that the American family still intends to sell the club, but Sheikh Jassim's officials are still unclear. Ratcliffe, one of the wealthiest individuals in Britain, nor Sheikh Jassim, a banker from Qatar, have specified a deadline for a solution.

However, according to the Guardian, Sheikh Jassim and company are growing apprehensive that the Glazers may not sell at all, although Ratcliffe's team is more optimistic that a deal can be made.
